Texas Breeze Boats at Houston Boating Center welcomes you to where the fun begins. It simply comes down to making time for family and friends. Back as a kid in Texas my father’s prize possession was a twenty-foot Hilton wooden boat with twin twenty-five Johnson outboard motors. I can remember he would work extra jobs to make sure it was possible to take his family and friends boating. After our first family boating experiences of fishing, water skiing, and just cruising - my father knew our happiest times would be on the water. 

    As time passed as a young man, I charted a course to visit as many bodies of water as I could.  I visited lakes, bays and coastlines in Texas, America and abroad. The most exciting moments of my adventures were listening to the stories of that special boating cove, tall fishing tales, and the sounds of the ocean. What I will never forget, are the smiles and gleam in the eyes of the storyteller.   

    Experience a vibrant sunrise or a multi-colored sunset like you never have before.  Night cruise with someone special - feeling the breeze on your face and watching the stars or even fireworks on the water.  Feel the pride when your son or daughter gets up on skiis and waves a ‘thank you”.  Your heart pounds with the first strike of a fish hitting your bait.  Hear the growl of the engine as you test the power of your machine across an open stretch of water.  These are memories, feelings and scenes that you capture when you experience time on the water. 

    As I reflect back to the special moments of my childhood I remember, my parents seemed to be their happiest boating with us kids. As I got chance to share boating with my own children, I can still remember my parents smiling at us. Memories of family and friends are timeless.
